Jewelry Sales Associate - Immediate Hire
Location: Bryant Park Winter Village at West 42nd Street and 6th Ave.
Yumi Jewelry + Plants is hiring a Sales Associate for their shop in Bryant Park located at W. 42nd Street and 6th Ave. Our shop is located in an open air, outdoor environment and is a wonderland of exotic natural air plants and handmade nature-inspired jewelry. Part-time position is available starting immediately. Must have Wednesday afternoon availability and some weekend availability.
We are looking for cheerful, friendly, energetic, responsible and creative individuals with previous retail sales and customer service experience. Are you an artist, craft designer, musician, plant lover, jewelry designer? We would love to hear about your creative endeavors and learn more about you.
Responsibilities include:
- On time shift arrival
- Be a team player and considerate of your team members
- Greet customers with a positive attitude
- Assist customers with merchandise purchases
- Adhere to strict cash / credit card transaction procedures using the Square operating system
- Maintain a clean and orderly merchandise display with extra attention to detail
- Restock inventory
Skills:
- Friendly, attentive and calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Previous retail experience preferred
Compensation:
Hourly + Commission + Bonuses
